Been listening to the show for years now and it is second to none in terms of comprehensive daily recaps! I loved bitcoin before but my understanding of its place in society has really taken shape thanks to the macro lens he views everything through. Not interested in the web3 ether crypto crap he touches on but hearing it only deepens my conviction that BTC IS THE SIGNAL and $eether will inevitably disappear into it’s massive shadow! NLW playin that epic reverse psychological 4d chess on me, I like it🤣

I have been listening to The Breakdown with NLW since early 2020 and have been impressed with Nathaniels’ distillations of macro topics/power shifts to their core esences. In 15-20 minutes I’m able to intake and digest the important macro news/events thanks to NLWs ability to not mince words and compress information during delivery, excellent topic selection, deep understanding of the content, and thoughtful unbiased commentary. The podcast covers a variety of topics due to the nature of power; ever shifting in its dynamics, especially in todays’ world. The topics include Central Banking, Crypto Finance, BitCoin, DeFi, Tech, Geopolitics and more, mainly from a US lens/perspective. There’s only so much content that can be fit into a day and there’s plenty of quality in the world but it’s difficult to beat The Breakdown in delivering compressed integratabtle bites in a 15 minute block. Thanks NLW - keep this going, we need honest/balanced perspectives in a rapidly shifting world.

The Breakdown is my Go To show for crypto news NLW has long been a “must listen” for broader macro and crypto news. He’s diligent in his coverage and maintains a keen journalistic approach that I find extremely valuable in a space filled with charlatans, scammers, and journalists-for-hire. I look forward to a new Breakdown everyday! Thanks for all your hard work NLW, from one journalist and pod host to another.

Long time listener. NLW and his team do a great job distilling what is going on in the world on topics shaping our monetary system. The podcast digs into the narratives surrounding crypto adoption, government regulation, currency devaluation, and the resulting big power shifts. The recent collapse of FTX is heartbreaking on a number of levels. I really appreciate NLW taking the time to walk the listener through the sequence of events and sharing his personal thoughts and the resulting struggles. I’m sure this resonates with the listeners. Despite the deluge of FUD this year, NLW has kept things positive. The Breakdown is a bright spot in this space.

The Breakdown is my favorite podcast across all genres (politics, long form interviews, history, tech, crypto, etc), bar none. NLW’s ability to zoom from macro to micro is fantastic. His ability to lay out all sides of an argument, state where his own take lands, and modify all of that as new information comes in, is truly a gift that I appreciate. And his recent episode laying out the FTX debacle has me trust his impartiality even more.

Have you ever presented what you thought was a thoroughly-documented and definitive thesis only to discover that you had overlooked some key literature on the subject matter? This will never be the case with NLW, who also always will keep the many sides of any reporting well-balanced and in fruitful tension.

NLW’s macro viewpoints give me life! I do appreciate Nate’s macro views on what seems to be a noisy, chaotic space — cryto. He offers a big picture perspective on how what we are seeing to today may be mimicking historic patterned we’ve seen in the fiat or technology spaces … or not. I love that he also points out something that seems net new (or shares his rational on how this might look similar but be different)! THIS if how I love to consume new information (in a macro context) and NLW is just brilliant with it! … not to mention humorous 😆 Love the show! Love that it’s daily! Really gives me something to look forward to when I queue up my podcast playlist for the day! ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ (would give 6 stars if I could!)

I don’t miss an episode!!! Love Love this podcast. So great to catch up on the crypto world in a succinct 12 min brief. One of my favorites, most recently, was the interview with Cathie Wood (replayed in March?). NLW was so excited and twitterpated - I got such a chuckle out of it. I hope she is on again soon. Such a brilliant lady. Thanks for creating such an easy listening podcast that is now a part of my every day ritual! Congrats on the baby!!

Very informative I’ve learned so much from this podcast in the last year. Often over my head when i first started listening, but used the confusion to learn and grow. Thank you NLW, a great daily pulse read for the crypto space

The best 15ish minutes you’ll spend each day If you are looking to wrap your brain around the concept of crypto currency (especially Bitcoin) and how it is transformative to the world’s financial system this is a must listen. NLW presents very intelligent and well researched analysis and informed opinions on how the daily world macroeconomic events are effected by and in turn affect Bitcoin and the larger crypto currency movement. Listening daily will do for your knowledge and intellect on the crypto space what dollar cost averaging does for your net worth. Listening is certainly a highlight of my day.

One of the best I listen to this crypto podcast and two others. This is def my favorite. Very entertaining and informative. It is what got me heavy into crypto! I think the first one I listened to mentioned the “ honey badger don’t care”. I watched the video, Listened to a few podcasts and got deep into BTC. Great work NLW!

Bernie Madoff is jealous Crypto is a digital Ponzi scheme... as long as everyone pays in life is good. Where’s the 3rd party audit of assets, lol
